Wallingford, Oxfordshire, February 9th 2026 – Vesta Software Group (“Vesta”), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Pollution Monitors Ltd. (“Pollution Monitors”), a UK market leader in the design, supply, installation, and servicing of gas detection and environmental monitoring systems.
Founded in 1986 as a family-run enterprise, Pollution Monitors has established itself as the premier provider of Hydrogen Sulphide and odour monitoring systems for Waste Water and Sewage Treatment Plants. Over the last decade, the company has successfully expanded into other critical sectors, becoming the preferred gas detection partner for laboratories associated with major universities and research establishments.
“We are delighted to welcome Pollution Monitors to the Vesta family,” said Richard Clancy, Group CEO of Vesta Software Group. “Their long-standing reputation as a leader in environmental monitoring and gas detection, particularly within the water and academic sectors, makes them an excellent addition to our portfolio. We look forward to supporting the team as they continue to deliver critical solutions to their diverse client base and preserving the legacy they have built.”
“The buy and hold for life business principles adopted along with their shared vision for strong customer service were key factors in the shareholders’ decision to partner with Vesta. With the trading activities, staff and company name unchanged, the strong foundations created over the past 40 years, coupled with Vesta’s portfolio of companies, will enable us to go from strength to strength“, stated Peter Holbrow, former owner of Pollution Monitors.
Harsha Ramanan, Portfolio Director at Vesta Software Group, welcomed the acquisition, stating: “Pollution Monitors is a trusted partner to world-class educational institutions, alongside their leading position in the waste water sector. We are excited to work with Peter Holbrow & his strong team to support their continued growth and success.”
