Wallingford, Oxfordshire, September, 10, 2026 – Vesta Software Group (“Vesta”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Aucxis BV (“Aucxis”), a Belgium-based specialist provider of mission-critical auction software and RFID identification and tracking solutions.
Founded in 1983, Aucxis operates through two core divisions. E-Trade provides integrated auction platforms to fish, flower and fresh produce markets, supporting critical workflows from supply and bidding through to billing, settlement and back-office integration. The RFID division delivers hardware and software solutions for asset identification, tracking, traceability and workflow automation for customers in industrial, logistics, pharmaceutical, healthcare and event markets. Aucxis serves customers across six continents.
“Aucxis is an excellent addition to Vesta and marks our first acquisition in Belgium. The company has built a strong reputation over more than four decades, with specialist solutions that are deeply embedded in its customers’ day-to-day operations. Its expertise in auction markets, international reach and commitment to customer service make Aucxis a strong fit with our long-term approach to investing in vertical market software businesses,” said Harsha Ramanan, Portfolio Director at Vesta Software Group.
“Joining Vesta Software Group marks an exciting new chapter for Aucxis. For more than 40 years, we have built our business around innovation, long-term customer relationships, and deep expertise in digital auction platforms, RFID solutions, and mission-critical software for specialized markets. What impressed us most throughout this process was Vesta’s long-term perspective and its commitment to preserving the identity and entrepreneurial spirit of the businesses that join the Group. That made Vesta the right home for Aucxis.
By combining Aucxis’ market expertise with Vesta’s international network, resources, and shared knowledge, we will be able to accelerate innovation, exchange expertise across markets and technologies, further strengthen our solutions, and continue supporting our customers with the same passion, expertise and commitment they have come to expect from us. This also gives us opportunities to responsibly apply technologies such as AI faster and on a larger scale, where they create real value for our customers and our teams.
Most importantly, this partnership allows us to build on what already makes Aucxis strong, while creating new opportunities for our employees, customers, and partners. We are excited about what we can achieve together as part of the Vesta family.” said Geert Vonck, CEO of Aucxis.
“We are excited to work alongside Geert and the Aucxis team. Aucxis expands our specialist auction software portfolio alongside Newline and Infoscience, while also bringing proven RFID capabilities across a range of industries. We see meaningful opportunities to share expertise across the group and support Aucxis’ next phase of development, while preserving the autonomy, customer focus and culture that have underpinned its success,” said Tom Withers, Portfolio Manager at Vesta Software Group.
