MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay – 5th August 2025 – Vesta Software Group, part of Jonas Software and Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:CSU), is pleased to announce the acquisition of GEOCOM Uruguay S.A. GEOCOM is a leading provider of integrated technology solutions for the retail, healthcare and government sectors in Latin America. This transaction marks Vesta’s eighth acquisition in Uruguay and its tenth acquisition in the Southern Cone, reaffirming the group’s long-term commitment to investing in mission-critical software businesses in vertical markets within the region.
Founded in 1997, GEOCOM offers a broad portfolio of technology products and services, including custom software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and consulting.
Its core products reflect a deep focus on vertical integration within its core markets and include GeoPos, a point-of-sale software designed for large supermarkets and pharmacy chains; GeoSalud, a care management solution for healthcare service providers; and GeoMunicipal, an integrated platform for local governments, supporting the digitization of public services and tax collection.
GEOCOM currently has over 300 employees and operates across Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador and Mexico, supporting organizations of all sizes in their digital transformation journeys.
“We are proud to welcome GEOCOM into our group of companies. As a leading technology provider in Uruguay, GEOCOM has built a strong reputation for innovation, reliability, and deep customer relationships, qualities that align perfectly with our long-term vision.
This acquisition marks a significant step in our commitment into Latin America. Uruguay’s dynamic business environment and highly skilled talent pool makes it an ideal place to invest and grow. With GEOCOM, we are not just acquiring a company, we are embracing a legacy of excellence and a team that shares our values of integrity, entrepreneurship, and customer focus.
Our model is to acquire and hold companies forever, empowering them to thrive independently while benefiting from the strength of our global network. We look forward to supporting GEOCOM’s continued success and expanding our presence in Uruguay and the broader region” said Richard Clancy, CEO of Vesta Software Group.
Abel Días Benítez, CEO of GEOCOM, highlighted: “Vesta’s acquisition marks a significant qualitative and quantitative leap forward for our organization. The synergy created through the integration of both companies, combined with the adoption of proven performance practices, the strength of the Constellation Group, and upcoming investments, will undoubtedly drive steady growth in our revenue and market presence, both locally and internationally.
GEOCOM has always been defined by the values of its people—professionals known for their commitment, dedication, expertise, approachability, and responsiveness to client needs.
A key reason behind our decision to move forward with this acquisition was Vesta’s strong commitment to preserving the culture of the companies it acquires, along with its deep respect for the people behind them.
We move ahead with the conviction that this union will lead to exponential global growth in the medium term. We are proud of the decision we’ve made, and our clients have welcomed the news of this strategic partnership with great enthusiasm and high expectations.”
