Job Description :

We are seeking action-oriented developers to focus on the development of our GuestVision product, a market leader in the Salon & Spa Software Industry. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to solve complex business problems and learn new concepts on the fly. Due to the nature of the software development lifecycle, perseverance, time management, and multi-tasking skills are essential.

  • Code, debug and maintain existing code in VB6 for retail POS product
  • Develop Mobile applications
  • Research new technologies to ensure GuestVision remains the leader in the Salon & Spa Market
  • Provide assistance and direction to the Helpdesk when Support issues are escalated
  • Prepare Technical documentation
  • Make bug fixes as necessary
  • Provide Technical documentation
  • The ideal candidate requires the following functional and technical skills: VB.NET, VB6, WPF, Windows Forms, Web API knowledge, ASP.NET, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML5
  • Other skills considered an asset are knowledge of Azure, IIS/Webserver, and Installshield
  • Microsoft Certification/Designation an asset
  • 3-5 years experience programming in an industry related position
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Forward/innovative thinking
  • Self-improvement and technical Learning ability
