Job Description :

The Salesforce Project Manager will responsible for working with Orion’s customers to help them use our Salesforce apps to the fullest extent. This position will coordinate between customers and our team of developers to ensure successful implementations; providing ongoing support and QA of new features and products. Typical projects include:

  • Implementation of new Salesforce instances
  • Setting up integrations between Salesforce and 3rd party applications like Campaign Monitor
  • Helping customers with report and dashboard creation
  • Working with customers to automate workflows

Orion is wholly-owned by Constellation Software, a Canada-based technology company traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE:CSU). This position reports to the General Manager.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

●    Internal Team-Based

  • Support customer usage of Orion’s Salesforce-based applications
  • Become an expert in Orion’s Salesforce-based applications
  • Understand the customer’s business processes and determine how best to use Salesforce to help them
  • Plan, organize and conduct recurring meetings with early-adopter customers
  • Conduct detailed feature requirements gathering sessions with customers as needed
  • Perform product demos to customers and prospects as requested by the Sales and/or Account Relationship Management team

●    Internal Team-Based

  • Assist in the definition of the product strategy and roadmap
  • Create and maintain the Product Backlog containing prioritized features and corresponding business justification
  • Create new and update existing software requests for development with user stories and necessary documentation for all Orion Salesforce software products
  • Completion and ongoing maintenance of the request for development and design documents including the creating of process flowcharts, wireframes, user interface screens, field specifications, and sample reports

●     Support

  • Create and maintain cases for support in the Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Act as Admin for Orion’s Salesforce instance
  • Create documentation for projects and for Salesforce-based products
  • Participation in team brainstorming and problem-solving/design sessions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience supporting Salesforce in an Admin capacity, fluidity with the creation of workflows, reports and page customization. Admin Certification a plus!
  • Some experience in winery operations, including winemaking, wholesale, and DTC preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce Partner Program a plus
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies such as maintaining and prioritizing a backlog
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to independently work with customers to help support, troubleshoot and develop applications
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Some travel required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
