We bring our applications to the masses (over 1000 hospitals in North America) to help make the world of healthcare a better place. Sound challenging? Yes - and fun. We need a strong Quality Assurance engineer that is extremely passionate about quality to help keep customers happy. This isn't your average testing position - we want you involved in all aspects of the agile development process to enhance quality at all steps. And, we need you to enhance our automation strategy and execute to your full potential.


  • Come up-to-speed on a reasonably complex product and begin contributing quickly
  • Define and execute a test plan for the next release and a subset of test cases by the end of your first iteration
  • Be the voice of the customer by executing manual test cases as well as driving efficiencies in test execution through test automation
  • Define the automation infrastructure and create additional verification tests be included in the nightly build
  • Participate in iteration planning to create acceptance criteria and tests that define "done" for implemented scenarios
  • Drive a defect-prevention culture by push quality upstream through collaboration with development, Product Management and others to produce ever-decreasing defect numbers
  • Execute performance and load tests to determine product capacity constraints and meet performance goals
  • Lead, mentor and coach junior team members on how to excel as a QA engineer

  • Some knowledge of .NET and web development technologies like HTML5 and JavaScript
  • Experience with test case management systems and test automation systems
  • A challenging and enquiring mind, curious about how things work and opinionated on how they are supposed to work
  • Knowledge and application of Agile Development Methodologies
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Bonus skills
  • Technologies: Team Foundation Server, Visual Basic (VB) or C#, TestComplete, Oracle or SQL databases
  • Ability to cook a main dish helps endear you during our pot-lucks
  • Knowing how to throw a Frisbee helps when your team decides to toss and solve problems at the same time


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred


  • 5+ years of experience testing enterprise software products or services
  • 3+ years of experience developing automated tests
  • 3+ years of experience testing in an Agile environment
  • [A plus] 1+ years working in the healthcare industry
