Job Description :

Trainer/Implementation Specialist will work with clients to evaluate business and software functionality and work with the client to configure software, help establish updated operating procedures, and train staff - both management and roles based training.


Client Training and Business Analysis

  • Work with clients to understand and explore their current business practices while helping them find and form best practices that can be implemented during the software conversion
  • Educate clients on proper software configuration, data entry, sales, billing, marketing, collections, and accounting techniques that fully leverage system capabilities while maximizing health club management operations
  • Conduct onsite, WebEx, and phone training for business owners and managers as well as front line employees to ensure comfort with the application
  • Develop end-user documentation that can be used or personalized and updated by the client
  • Provide telephone and onsite consultation for clients needing assistance with complex software procedures and best practices for optimal club operations
  • Provide client pre- and post-training details based on templates provided to ensure their success
  • Provide outstanding software training support
  • Review and compare data and billing information during and after conversions according to established processes
  • Review and seek to understand client data for the purposes of interpreting and translating data into the correct Compete tables. Must develop skills to analyze and compare data to provide client with reporting differences and reasons for data points like number of members, total member dues, total members by status, total Paid in Full members, etc.
Internal Staff Training
  • Help train and mentor new trainers and other Jonas Fitness staff
  • Develop end-user documentation that can be used internally
Project Management and Process
  • Utilize the project plans and timelines to help manage projects from a client AND internal communication standpoint.
  • Must have the ability to connect with and manage to timelines provided and encourage team members to adhere to these schedules and work through alternatives and address deviations where necessary.
  • Product Interaction
  • Submit software enhancement requests, including all business requirements, based on client requests as well as best practice training experiences based
  • Report data integrity issues to all necessary parties including all relevant information such as screen shots, replication steps, points of failure, and possible financial impact to clients’ business operations
Jonas Fitness Implementations/Professional Services Employee Requirements
  • Adhere to designated work schedules by maintaining strong attendance and punctuality records as required by corporate employee policies
  • Log all trainings and capture and communicate relevant details regarding client interactions and services
  • Prepare reports following all onsite training sessions to capture and communicate relevant details regarding topics discussed, post training action items, and additional sales opportunities
  • Track completed training hours by client, product, and task
  • Attend and actively participate in internal team and company meetings – both by phone and, at times, onsite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the health club industry highly desired
  • Strong background in client training/teaching
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, and specifically Excel
  • Remote position
  • High speed internet required in order to access company VPN for all business conducted
  • Up to 75% travel
