Job Description :

Implementations Data Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting data (both internal conversion data as well as data from the competitor), working directly with the client to confirm how the data fits into their business workflows, creating documents with specifications for the conversion and working with conversion DBAs to ensure the conversion script written for Jonas Software matches and reconciles with the data received. In addition, the Implementations Data Analyst will assist with custom reporting specifications and work with existing clients who require assistance with correcting data to improve their operating workflow and reporting capabilities. The Analyst should be flexible and ready to thrive in an Action Oriented role with the opportunity to interact with the full Professional Services team.

  • Review and analyze client source data for interpretation in conversion and implementation
  • Communicate regularly with the client as well as the project implementation team to ensure the best possible understanding of the client’s data is understood and properly validated once converted
  • Be an expert in the Compete software and data points available for conversion and reporting
  • Perform data validation tests by comparing source data with converted data using tools to provide any differences
  • Lead both internal and client-facing data reviews with a solid process for presenting and reporting on results
  • Provide specific examples of unmatched data from the conversion and validation process and work closely with Conversion DBAs to uncover solutions
  • Watch for, and communicate internally on, any trends in data validation problems, conversion errors, source file inconsistencies, and anything that can help with long-term business and process improvement
  • Review and analyze existing client data and process to provide the best possible recommendations for data clean-up and process improvement to better utilize their software and reporting
  • Understand the data points within the software and how they interact with reports to clearly communicate and assist with custom reporting specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years work experience in related field is required
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Fitness Software
  • Ability to analyze and work with large amounts of data
  • Ability to view, write, and run simple SQL queries
  • Ability to relate and communicate clearly with club operators and owners regarding best practices and recommendations
  • Ability to communicate technical or complex topics to non- technical audiences
  • Ability to communicate business concepts to technical audiences
  • Ability to generate creative ideas, make decisions in a timely manner and prioritize effectively
  • Candidates must possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • One must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Basic understanding of client server architecture and relational databases is a must 
  • Proficiency working in desktop applications (Word, Excel, Project) and ability to learn new tools quickly
