Job Description :

The Shortcuts Customer Care Representative, will be responsible for developing and executing telephone sales and marketing campaigns for all Shortcuts products. The objective of these campaigns should be to provide the customer with goods and services that can add value to their business. The campaigns should be developed in collaboration with other Shortcuts departments and should not be launched without the approval of the relevant departments.

  • Developing and working from a scripts and a list of contacts to promote the products or services by telephone
  • Create interest in a products or service and complete a sale or agreement to see a sales representative
  • Process and arrange the dispatch of products, information kits and brochures to interested clients
  • Arrange appointments with sales representatives and educators
  • Record changes to contact details on a database and note follow-up action
  • Maintain statistics of calls made and successes achieved
  • Submit periodic reports on telemarketing activities and results
  • Receive calls and provide information, complete a sale, or assist with any problems
  • Liaise with customers regarding business and configuration requirements
  • Coordinate Shortcuts POS database configurations using the relevant configurations booklets and templates
Also, but not limited to:
  • Account Management of existing clients in assigned territories throughout the United States Handling customer issues and complaints
  • Taking orders on in and out bound calls
  • Up selling on in and out bound calls
  • Maximum next day response times to customer communications
  • Using all forms of communications in a professional manor
  • Conducing various outbound campaigns from time to time
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers in the territory
  • Using Shortcuts Software forms, CRM and paperwork correctly
  • Cold Calling and appointment setting to non-shortcuts customers
  • Meeting Sales and general performance KPI’s. Providing management with current sales data and forecast as requested
  • Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business
  • A moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competency
  • Moderate to high hair, beauty and spa industry knowledge. Retailing knowledge would also be beneficial
