Job Description :

POSITION
The Business Analyst’ position will report directly to the Director of R&D on the Information Technology team.
This position requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated, focused and detail-oriented individual who can use his analytical and logical skills to solve real world business challenges, analyze and gather requirements, recommend and streamline processes, and where appropriate, test and deliver solutions that contribute to the overall success of the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The core responsibilities of the position include:

  • Ability to partner with the stakeholders to thoroughly understand the customer journey map and enhance their business objectives to build a world class SAAS product.
  • Gather, organize, lead discussions and develop the necessary business and technical information in order to deliver a detailed user story to the development team.
  • Provide engaging UX solutions throughout the product, this includes producing wireframes and prototypes in conjunction with user story
  • Be accountable to effectively ‘own’ the projects you are supporting – including understanding its user experience and business impact from end to end, as well as functioning as a subject matter expert for the product’s growth and success.
  • Support projects that require research and analysis, including discussions and follow-up.
  • Be a strong proponent for Agile software practices.
  • Be an expert on the competition and produce SWOT analyses for the competitive set
  • Oversee the project, and be on point to answer, resolve or further define any questions or issues that may arise during the development and delivery of the project.
  • Work closely with the QA and UAT teams in support of the thorough testing of your project deliverables.
  • Assist in the Product Development department’s escalation and triage process
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and staying engaged in business and technical forums as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in a relevant business analysis/product management position.
  • Hands-on experience working with Billing or Payment Service software is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple duties associated with a project life cycle, including analysis, testing and delivery management
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including Executives, Product Managers, Supervisors, CS Representatives, contract resources, application users and software Developers, including global resources
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate within the IT technical community as well as the business stakeholders and product owners
  • Demonstrated experience with project & product ownership and a proven ability to successfully drive and deliver customer-facing web-based applications beyond just following the deliverable processes of the SDLC
  • Strong analytical skills required, including an extensive understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with Microsoft products to create encompassing documentation that provides the necessary level of detail to both the business and technical communities.
